Steven Bowes, Jade Stott and her children are being housed in one of Hillcrest Transitional Living’s five sites in Johnson and Wyandotte counties. On their first day they checked out the new digs, including the food pantry in the basement, and signed a written agreement to follow program guidelines and attend weekly volunteer-taught classes in life skills, employment, community living and budgeting.
